Break-ins continue to plague L.A. neighborhood despite additional police funding

Business owners in Eagle Rock are demanding more police patrols after three small businesses were burglarized over the holiday weekend. This weekend’s round of burglaries comes after Los Angeles City Councilman Kevin de León designated $100,000 in discretionary funds “to cover LAPD overtime costs for foot patrols, particularly along Colorado and Eagle Rock boulevards" in January.
